The Problem We Solve

macOS is optimized for Apple trackpads and the Magic Mouse. When connecting a standard external USB or Bluetooth mouse from Logitech, Razer, Microsoft, Zowie, or other manufacturers, macOS often provides jarring notched scrolling, lacks trackpad-like pinch-to-zoom gestures, and fails to handle mechanical switch chatter.

Over time, mechanical mouse switches develop wear that causes a single physical click to register as two or more electrical signals (the infamous double-click bug). Instead of throwing away an expensive mouse, Mac Mouse Fixer introduces an ultra-low latency software debounce filter that eliminates phantom clicks while preserving intentional rapid clicking.

Mac Mouse Fixer is built by David Tran, an independent software developer. The application is written in native Swift using macOS Core Graphics event taps for minimal CPU and memory usage.
